About the Role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform overhaul and repairs to landing gear assemblies and sub-components.
Perform teardown, cleaning, checks, measurements, and assembly of mechanical and hydraulic sub-assemblies and landing gear.
Repair detail parts in accordance with approved data and repair schemes.
Reads and interprets technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
Ability to operate various equipment, i.e., media blasters, pneumatic and hydraulic presses etc.
Able to operate basic, electric, and pneumatic hand tools as required to accomplish job assignment.
Complete all required maintenance records as stated in the Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals.
Accurately record time work on each work order

Education and/or work Experience Requirements:
High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Ability to work in a team environment and exercise good judgement in aircraft maintenance, quality, and safety.
Airframe and Powerplant certificate preferred, but not required.
Must provide own basic tools.
Willing to work overtime and weekends as required.
2 years Landing Gear experience desired, but not required.
3-5 years’ experience in Aviation Industry desired.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and comply with OSHA standards.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility for extended periods of time.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
